In this online math test multiply numbers and divide numbers in mathematical expressions involving exponents. The student must know the difference between how to work with exponents in a division situation versus in a multiplication activity.
This test has ten multiplication problems and division problems that have expressions that include exponents. These problems are in the form of multiple choice questions and drag-and-drop questions.
This test is based on the following Common Core Standards:
Know and apply the properties of integer exponents to generate equivalent numerical expressions. For example, 32 × 3–5 = 3–3 = 1/33 = 1/27.
